Event Finder Endpoint

The Event Finder endpoint is a primary interface within the Reykjavík Event Calendar API, Hvirfill. It is designed to retrieve a comprehensive list of currently active events registered in the system.

This endpoint emphasizes flexibility, offering a wide range of filtering options to meet diverse developer needs. Supported filters include (but are not limited to):

Event ID
Date range
Geographic location
Thematic tags

Filter Design

The Event Finder endpoint is built around the principle of filter chaining. This allows multiple filters to be applied in a single request, where each filter further refines the results.

Combining filters returns events that match all specified criteria.
